General Updates + More


Firstly, I'm certain everyone has realized by now that I give most of my devlogs absurd titles. This is only because of the fact that I am horrible at coming up with titles that are better than "Update Number 140018" and the like. Larger updates and more interesting or important devlogs will have actual titles that make sense.

That being said! It might not seem like much of anything just yet, but I wrote seven pages of world lore and information (which I posted as devlogs yesterday) and today, over the very small span of four hours, I managed to write all of the flavor/descriptive text for all of Lamtry Covert and half of Ilfra. I am planning on writing at least twice as much tomorrow.  

I know I could have written more tonight, but I decided to stop for right now, because my internet is lagging due to fog and potential thunderstorms, which means I might need to load and monitor the radar on Accuweather and listen to the weather radio, since I live in an area prone to tornadoes and I would not be surprised at all if tornado season hit early this year.

According to the word count tool I use, today's word count is just under three thousand words, or five and a half pages, which I don't think is a bad stopping point for the night.

Once I've finished all of the flavor/descriptive text needed for Omnia's introduction, I am going to work on incorporating the main plot, then once that is finished, I will add the NPC dialogue (each NPC will say multiple things and at  specific times, what they say will change, depending on what has happened in-game.) 

Things are still progressing at a rate I'm rather pleased with, especially considering that I am a solo developer and Omnia is not going to be simple or short by any means.
